Benchmarks: CrystalDiskMark 3.0

The 960 Pro was 8% faster than the 950 Pro for the CrystalDiskMark sequential read test with a throughput of 2522MB/s. That's a massive 51% improvement over the Samsung SM951 and 64% improvement over the Intel SSD 750 Series.

Looking at the sequential write performance we find that the 960 Pro series is 17% faster than the 950 Pro as it reached 1790MB/s.

The random 512K read performance wasn't greatly improved, the 960 Pro did come out on top though the margin was slim compared to the SM951 and 950 Pro models.

Here we find that the 960 Pro slips slightly behind the 950 Pro and SM951 SSDs which is surprising. That said at roughly 1.5GB/s the 960 Pro 1TB was hardly slow.

Random 4K read performance is on par with the 950 Pro, making the 960 Pro series much faster than virtually everything else.

The 960 Pro also came out on top for the random 4K write test with a throughput of 194MB/s.
