ATI Radeon HD 5670 Review

Benchmarks: Far Cry 2, Resident Evil 5

The Radeon HD 5670 puts in its best showing yet in Far Cry 2. The card was able to match the GeForce 9800 GT at 1920x1200 with 32fps, and was 19% faster than the GeForce GT 240. However, the Radeon HD 4770 still managed to come ahead with a 9% margin over the HD 5670.

The Radeon HD 5670 performed nicely in Resident Evil 5 as well, beating the GeForce 9800 GT by a single frame per second and the GeForce GT 240 by a 21% performance margin. Unfortunately at this point we were not surprised to see the Radeon HD 5670 was still 24% slower than the Radeon HD 4770.
