Benchmarks: Battlefield Bad Company 2

For measuring performance in Battlefield Bad Company 2 we relied on FRAPS, recording a minute of gameplay from the second level.

The GeForce GTX 480 and Radeon HD 5870 delivered virtually identical performance in this game, with a slight advantage going to the GeForce. The Radeon HD 5870 was 2fps slower when comparing both average and minimum frame rates, while both cards averaged over 60fps in our test.

The battle between the Radeon HD 5850 and GeForce GTX 470 was far more one-sided, as the Radeon HD 5850 delivered on average 19% more performance, while the minimum frame rates were also consistently higher. The GeForce GTX 470 certainly disappointed here, though the new GeForce 257.15 beta drivers didn't claim to improve performance in this game.
