Benchmarks: Metro 2033, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
When testing with Metro 2033 the Radeon HD 6990 was 7% slower than the HD 6970 Crossfire configuration with a total of 55fps at 2560x1600. This meant that it was 90% faster than the HD 6970 and 111% faster than the HD 5970. Meanwhile it was also 74% faster than the GeForce GTX 580.
When testing with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat we again find that the Radeon HD 6990 was 7% slower than a pair of Radeon HD 6970 Crossfire graphics cards. It was also considerably faster than the Radeon HD 5970 providing 110% more performance.
