Application Performance

The MSI X-Slim X460 is an Excel specialist, completing the MonteCarlo test in just 7 seconds -- 46% faster than the Asrock CoreHT.

The X460 also performed well in WinRAR, zipping through the program compression test in 37 seconds, well ahead of the others.

Photoshop CS5's performance was also excellent, as the X460 applied the radial blur filter in 29.7 seconds, a 40% improvement over the Asrock CoreHT.
