Encoding Performance
The X-Slim notebook dominated in HandBrake, averaging 81.7fps --59% faster than the Asrock CoreHT and 42% faster than the AMD A8-3850 APU.
The X460's lead continued with 88.7fps in x264 HD Benchmark, far outpacing the other comparable machines we've benchmarked.
The X460 took only 7 minutes and 8 seconds to complete the AVI to MPG conversion using TMPGEnc XPress, a 44% lead over the CoreHT's 10 minute and 21 second timing.
