Benchmarks: AS SSD Benchmark

AS SSD Benchmark shows strong sequential read performance for the Vector 150 and while it looks to be low in the graph, keep in mind that all SSDs around the 480 to 510MB/s mark are maxing out the SATA 6Gb/s bus.

Its sequential write benchmark also places the Vector 150 behind the original Vector, but again, both max out the SATA 6Gb/s bus.

The Vector 150 is much slower than OCZ's original offering in the 4K-64 thread read benchmark, delivering a throughput of 331.4MB/s opposed to 381.4MB/s, though it was still the second fastest SSD tested.

The Vector 150 performs much more like its predecessor in the 4K-64 thread write test, managing 314.2MB/s.

When it comes to the read access time, the Vector 150 is extremely quick at 0.051ms, faster than the original Vector.

OCZ's latest enthusiast drive was also extremely fast when measuring write access, even if 0.059ms was only a slight improvement over the original Vector.
