SiSoftware Sandra XII

Again we see that the superior memory bandwidth of the Athlon64 X2 5200+ is not being met by the new Phenom 9500 processor. While the Athlon64 X2 5200+ exceeds 7.6GB/s in both the RAM Int and Float Buffer tests, the Phenom 9500 is limited to around 5.2GB/s. The Core 2 Quad Q6600 on the other hand works with around 5.7GB/s of memory bandwidth, while the Core 2 Extreme QX6850 reaches 7GB/s.

The SiSoftware Sandra XII processor performance test favors the Core 2 Quad Q6600 over the Phenom 9500, giving it a 12% advantage in the Whetstone iSSE3 test and 36% for the Dhrystone ALU test.
