WinRAR & MemTach

When using only one core the Athlon64 X2 5200+ is actually faster than the Phenom 9500, which shouldn't be quite the surprise given that it has a 400MHz advantage. However, enable all four cores on the Phenom 9500 and it becomes 78% faster than the Athlon64 X2 5200+, which is very impressive. The Phenom 9500 was just 1.5% slower than the Core 2 Quad Q6600 in this test, which is impressive given that the Core 2 Quad Q6600 has a 200MHz advantage over it.

The MemTach Analyze tests take both processor and memory performance into account. As a result the Phenom 9500 and Athlon64 X2 5200+ performance is very similar, with the Phenom 9500 winning the second test while losing the first.
