While the Gigabyte X48-DQ6 uses DDR2 memory, the new ASUS P5E3 Premium supports DDR3 memory exclusively. So despite the P5E3 Premium was running DDR3-1333 memory, it produced roughly the same memory bandwidth in our EVEREST tests.
