The SiSoftware Sandra XII memory bandwidth test shows the ASUS P5E3 Premium having a slight advantage over the Gigabyte X48-DQ6, which is due to the difference in memory. While the margin was small the P5E3 Premium did have a 200MB/s advantage over the DDR2-1066 boards in this test. Again the processor performance results were much the same on all three LGA775 motherboards.
