Power Consumption & Temperatures
For some strange reason the Diamond Radeon HD 3650 1GB used considerably less power when under load than the Gigabyte version despite featuring twice as much memory. At idle the opposite was true, which made more sense. You will see that in general the Radeon HD 3650 consumes slightly less power than other more expensive offerings, though this is more noticeable under load than at idle.
The Diamond card carried a much larger heatsink than the Gigabyte version which resulted in lower temperatures. Unfortunately both cards were very loud at all times, which we found to be quite annoying.
