hi, i did a clean install of xp pro and i installed the graphics driver but i have no sound and in device manager under other devices it says PCI device with a question mark what do i need is it chipset drivers and which one do i need

heres specs from everest tell me if u need any more info please

brand packard bell and model intel is that right?

No, there should be an actual model number for your PC. Look around on it, or see if Everest gives it to you.

You can get all the drivers you need off of http://www.packardbell.com/support.htm.

Also, the GA-8I915P-MF (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1800) is very similar to the motherboard you have (which is probably a proprietary version).

where on everest does it show model number what should i click on?

I don't know off hand, I don't have Everest installed and I'm not using a proprietary PC. Look on the PC itself for a model number and go to http://www.packardbell.com/support.htm for your drivers.

No, that is your motherboard model, which, isn't on Gigabyte's site from what I can tell because it's probably a proprietary version.

Look on your PC for the model number and go to http://www.packardbell.com/support.htm for your drivers.

ok i think i installed the tv card driver but i need something to get it to play what can i use?
