When I try to run Disk Doctor in System Works 2003 I get a message that says drive characteristics cannot be obtained and partition info. cannot be tested. Also when I test my drive it says that the O/S or another process has exclusive rights to the drive or some of its files. I am running XP Home. Please help.

What is your problem exactly?
Norton does not make Disk Doctors, they produce Disk Destroyers :dead:, be very careful with that program!
