Roxio problems

I am a filmmaker, and I use a CD-Mp3 ripping program to place my audio tracks onto my computer for storage/editing purposes.

I recently downloaded MusicNow from Microsoft to download music. This service automatically updated my Windows Media Player, and my Roxio CD Creator program.

The updates on these programs have affected the playback of my ripped Mp3 files. My regular Mp3's play normally, but all of my film audio which I personally recorded has digital feedback now.

I tried restoring my system, but the updates are still there, what can I do?

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but you might be able to uninstall MusicNow and Roxio, and reinstall Roxio with the original disk you have.
