WAN miniport (ATW)#2 is AOL's network adapter.

In your case, you might first try:
1.) Just uninstalling it using Device Manager.
Open Device Manager, expand Network Adatpers, rt click this entry to Uninstall. Then reboot, restart AOL and it should reinstall it OR
2) Somewhere in AOL (I forget just where) there's an option to reset everything. Doing so should cause AOL to rebuild/reinstall this adapter

If above doesn't help also look at this thread WAN Miniport (ATW) #2 (http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?t=123708&highlight=wan*miniport)

You must have had aol installed at sometime in the past as the wan miniport driver you mention is specific to AOL. And i found (as in the other thread) when you uninstall AOL software they don't uninstall their driver! (Had you uninstalled AOL? or is aol stilll on your computer?)

you'll find instructions in this other thread on how to remove their driver (after you first uninstall aol)
