Sony has licensed graphics compression technology from S3 Graphics (http://news.com.com/Sony+picks+up+graphics+tech+for+PSP/2110-1043_3-5333408.html?part=rss&tag=5333408&subj=news.1043.5) for this new portable gaming unit, which will maintain texture and detail in compressed images. The device will feature a 333MHz processor that includes integrated graphics, a specialized core for video, a reconfigurable processing core that will enhance sound and 4 megabytes of integrated memory.
