Since 27 October 2004, a new release of Firefox is out.
Get it here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.0rc1/

If for some reason you get Server error 530:
copy the link into the address-bar, and change ftp:// into http://
Problem solved.

Update borked out horribly for me, refused to restart, but I deleted it, any older versions, etc and got the zip of it - now working fine

On Windows that is. Running a cvs-build thats pretty similar in age on BeOS as well, no issues.

yep uninstalled the old version and it all good better on my 98 machine as Firefox seems to be a must Explorer= bluescreen every 5 mins or so
