Just got in a silent boost heatsink and fan
this is to cool a 2400+ on a m7vig-pro
stock ht fan while running apps was bout 124 F all the time
after I cleaned that up some while idle 119 up to 123 F with apps
cleaned up and polished the silent boost after running for 2 hrs at idle or with apps I get only 114 F I would like to over clock just a little
anyone think my temps are in the safe range to do this?
I am clocked now default 1.999 mhz
will the fact that I am using 133mhz sdram have an impact on system
I can move to 266 ddram don't know if its worth it >

Faster and quality RAM helps overclocking.

Silent HSF's aren't designed for overclocking. They're great for stock speeds. The CPU can heat up when overclocked.

My suggestion: get 266 or faster RAM if the mobo supports it.
