I was just invited to upgrade my Firefox browser to version 1.04. I'm always suspicious of these things, so any advice? If I go with the newer version, will I lose my bookmarks or are they imported?

And no you wont lose any bookmarks etc. Regards Howard   Ad 06-01-2005, 07:49 AM chessonly 06-01-2005, 09:15 AM there is an extension to backup bookmarks nd some other settigns. try searching for it. RealBlackStuff 06-02-2005, 01:36 AM Even when you UNinstall your current Firefox, all your personal settings will still stay behind (such as bookmarks, your own modifications, the installed extensions, etc.). When you then install the latest version, these 'old' settings will be automatically applied to your new install. Since version 1.0 however, it is no longer required to first uninstall an old version. Just install any newer release, and Firefox takes care of itself. |
