IE Icon Problem

The IE logo that is supposed to be shown in the address bar has been replaced with the file icon since I installed Mozilla Firefox. I then uninstalled Firefox as it was scrolling down pages slower then IE.

Is there anything I can do to make it come back?

Thanks,
Cypher

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Have you tried doing a system restore to a point before you installed Firefox?

It was a while ago when I uninstalled Mozilla (cant remember when), so I cant do a system restore.

Thanks for the reply,

Ok then. Try downloading and reinstalling IE from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/Top10.mspx

Rightclick that icon, select Properties, click 'Change Icon', go to where IE is if necessary.
The rest is self-explanatory.
