Need a free app to convert .ape to .mp3

I have downloaded a couple of albums that are in .ape format and i want to convert them to .pm3 format. Does anyone know of an application i could use to do this for free? I own both albums on vinyl and have no means of connection of the record player to my pc to .mp3 them myself, and as i own the vinyls i dont believe it can be classed as pirating.
