My Dvd Burner Doesn't work!

Hi guys I have Micro Advantage DVD Burner and I am trying to burn Cds. But when I insert blank Cds in my dvd burner it says Please Insert Blank CD. I tried 20 different blank Cds but it still doesn't work. I am using Roxio Easy CD & Dvd Creator 6. Please someone can help me on this. I am also using Sonic Recordnow 7.1.... Please someone help me do this problem. God bless you.

Tell me your PC configs. Explain to me how the IDE cables are being used, which drives are on which cables and which drives are masters and which are slaves. What Burning software are you using? Is there more than one burning software installed?
