Hi,
I'm a new member and found Techspot by accident ! But hope someone out there can help us.

Since installign AOL Broadband in late April, we've been having the dreaded Blue Screen Error. Spoke to AOL and uninstalled B/B, rebuild this that and the other and was told everything now OK. 2 days later, yes you've guessed it, blue screen again. Contacted Packard Bell and the guys ther did an Destructive uninstall of our computer back to basics they said. Lost all daughter's games esp. all of her Sims !!! By doing this we thought right we're starting from basic and should now be OK. How wrong we were !! Still getting Blue Screen error.

This is the Blue Screen Error page:

BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER.

If problem continues disable BIOS memory such as caching or shadowing.

Technical information:-

***STOP: 0x000000FE (0x00000002, 0x872EC008, ox82CFDL30,0x82AA55E8)

Beginning dump of physical memory.
Memory dump complete.

Any advise ???????

If you're using Windows XP install SP2. Micro$oft says this should fix it.
