Odinn 08-12-2005, 07:46 AM recently updated my sytem with a winfast k7s 741mg series motherboard and a gig of ddr ram, however after reinstalling windows it won't read the cd with all the drivers on it that came with the motherboard, it reads every other cd i put in and i tested the cd on my other computer and it worked fine, my cd rw drive is a btc model: bce 48716Im, any suggestions? DonNagual 08-12-2005, 07:48 AM That's just plain wierd. Have you fed your computer today? Sounds grumpy. Have you tried going into the CD via windows explorer? Ad 08-12-2005, 07:48 AM Odinn 08-12-2005, 08:02 AM yup nothing comes up as a blank cd DonNagual 08-12-2005, 08:05 AM And other data CDs work in that drive? You can see them in explorer? Odinn 08-12-2005, 08:13 AM yeah everything else works fine, installed software for cd rw and installed software for my modem, but the disk that came with the motherboard just keeps comming up blank :(, when i put the cd in nothing happens and if i use explorer it says "please insert a disk into drive D" lmao. DonNagual 08-12-2005, 08:15 AM That is just plain wrong. [DonNagual kicks Odinn's computer in the groin] Odinn 08-12-2005, 08:17 AM That is just plain wrong.
