learner1 09-15-2005, 09:24 PM how do i close a thread in tech spot is it up to me yo close my threads when finished or the moderators thanks learner1 RealBlackStuff 09-16-2005, 04:25 AM A thread is only closed if a moderator does not want any more posts added to it. In due time, any thread that is no longer 'active', disappears from sight, as it is superseded by newer threads. It will still be there for anyone looking for a specific thing as phrased in that thread. That way, no information, no matter how old, gets 'lost'. Ad 09-16-2005, 04:25 AM learner1 09-16-2005, 10:12 AM thanks- just checking aside:Murphys stout is the realblackstuff Up the Rebels! learner1 RealBlackStuff 09-16-2005, 02:12 PM They'd kill me if I would say that in Dublin! But in all honesty, I DO prefer Murphy's over Guinness any day! howard_hopkinso 09-16-2005, 02:38 PM Do I sense a change of avatar coming on? Regards Howard http://www.birdforum.net/images/smilies/pint1.gif RealBlackStuff 09-17-2005, 02:20 AM I'll keep the avatar, as it's nearly impossible to find a Murphy's pub in the Dublin area. Either the Cork people are too stingy (like the Danes who hate to see Carlsberg leave the country) or Guinness is too big in it's stronghold Dublin. I know that quite a few of my friends would prefer the competion as well! |
