I am trying to install xp pro on maxtor 80 Gb sata hd. now here is my problem
When I try to the install third party driver from my mobo disk that I copy onto a floppy . I get this error > file\raid\winxp\viamraid.sys cause and unexpected
error 18 at line 2108 in D:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

You very sure that the third party driver from your mobo suits that SATA HD?
