I have:

2GB ram g.skill 5-5-5-10
core 2 duo E6400
geforce 7900GT
GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3

and my idle temp is usually around 27C load around 35-38C

and can anyone explain overclocking a little? how exactly? from what I've read you incrase the FSB by small increments and if it gets unstable, add a little voltage til it's stable and repeat? or are there other ways to overclock. like by the multiplyer and stuff.

do a search on Overclocking on www.google.com or on this site since it does have a search engine =)

Okay, I tried overclocking and all. But no matter what I do I cannot get the FSB past 300Mhz, If I go to 305 or higher it doesn't boot up and I have to reset the CMOS. Even If i up the voltage by .1V, at 300MHz FSB I have 2.4GHz and 900Mhz on ram
