smore9648 12-29-2006, 06:47 PM They have announced that Saddam will be executed in with in 3 hours. 0600hrs Iraq time.
I am so glad this part is finally over with. I hated watching the trial, it lasted too long.
Even though his death will be a significant achievement to the world, unfortunately he is only one person on the list thousands of terrorists we have to deal with.
His sons are dead and soon so will he. Hell will be busy tonight
cfitzarl 12-29-2006, 08:49 PM More like 1hour 13minutes ;) ! I feel that he was a tyrant, although I was not old enough to remember what he tried to do to George Bush Sr., so I cannot hate him as much as older people do, what happened with the supposed assasination attempt :suspiciou ?

They videotaped his hanging. I can guarantee you it will be leaked to the public
Finchy 01-02-2007, 10:47 AM I personnally dont think id want to watch someone be hanged.
I am sort of pleased that hes dead, but i am generally against the death penalty.
I do understand why people want him to die and he was the Hitler of the 90's who did horrible things.
I think i may have perfered it if he was locked away in a maximum security prison for life.
Boogityboo04 01-02-2007, 02:35 PM The full video is out if anyone wants to see it.
cfitzarl 01-02-2007, 04:10 PM The full video is out if anyone wants to see it.
It's very shaky and blurry just to let you know. Almost everyone I know has seen it...:dead:

It was shown on CNN if you can believe that (up to the actual trap door falling).
Tmagic650 01-02-2007, 05:07 PM They should have handed Saddam over to the Kurd's... Hanging was too good for him
twite 01-02-2007, 05:32 PM They shouldn't have hung him at all, death is to good for him. They should have made him spend his life in a prison, rather then letting him become a martyred

It's proabably not the greatest idea to debate here :blackeye: . Howard will most likely come in if we get to "fierce" and close the thread :blackeye:.
twite 01-02-2007, 05:55 PM I'm not debating anything, it is just my opinion
Tmagic650 01-02-2007, 10:16 PM I saw the video of the hanging... I still say we should have handed him over to people in that Kurd city he gassed
Angelbear 01-03-2007, 06:58 AM Cfitzarl,

I saw the video posted by cnn, it even had their official watermark on it and there were subtitles. They stopped it before the trap door opened though.
smore9648 01-03-2007, 04:16 PM CNN showed it but there is a video on www.liveleak.com that shows a cellphone version of the hanging, this one shows saddam falling through the trap door but nothing else.
Now the guard, who video taped this, is under investigation.
Mictlantecuhtli 01-03-2007, 04:18 PM Why do people want to watch someone die?
cfitzarl 01-03-2007, 04:24 PM Why do people want to watch someone die?
I think it makes some people happy that he's dead. It also piques some peoples curiosity I think.
smore9648 01-03-2007, 04:26 PM Why do people want to watch someone die?
I do not like to watch people die but he deserved it.
I have no problem watching people like that dying. They do not have the right to live when they commit such atroshish crimes.
I believe everyone should only be judged by one higher power but we needed to take care of this one ourselves.
ravisunny2 01-06-2007, 09:28 AM Why do people want to watch someone die?
I'm sure many in this forum have read 'Lord of the flies' by William Holden (I believe).
Who made Saddam so 'powerful' ? And Osama ?
Do they have a share in the 'atrocities' ?
But, all said and done, I think this site is great in what it was intended for.
Tmagic650 01-06-2007, 01:05 PM In this country and for a long time in England, public hangings were a common practice. People ate food and visited like going to a big party. It may have been better to have given Saddam over to the Kurds. Anybody remember the picture of Mussolini and his girlfriend hanging on display in Italy after they were brutally killed? They could have left Saddam alive in a dingy prison, but I can imagine that any prison would be like a luxury hotel, compared to the "spider hole" Saddam was found hiding in
zephead 01-07-2007, 03:08 AM i would have rather seen him simply thrown in prison for the rest of his life. everybody dies eventually. for a man who caused so much pain and suffering, he died too easily. he's going to hell anyways, at least he could've suffered more in this life before going to suffer in hell for all eternity. i bet we could find a prison here in the US where he would have a very, very hard time.
Tedster 01-07-2007, 05:19 AM good bye and good riddance.
CAPITAL PUNISHMENT WORKS. The offender can never commit crimes again.
cfitzarl 01-07-2007, 11:30 AM Is Bush next?
Not many Americans like him including me, although you need to ask yourself, "Could I have done a better job?".
Yes, is the answer to that question.
ravisunny2 01-07-2007, 05:35 PM Not many Americans like him including me, although you need to ask yourself, "Could I have done a better job?".
Not Many could have done a better job (if you can figure out what his mission was).
cfitzarl 01-07-2007, 06:22 PM Yes, is the answer to that question.
Managing a country with 350,000,000 people, having a declining stock market, and dealing with 9/11? Really?
meffs 01-07-2007, 07:30 PM i think you shouls all put more thought in to fixing my pc, ffs who cares about sh, another of the worlds over rated waste of space! power to the fixation of the pc!

:haha: dont be greedy :knock:
Managing a country with 350,000,000 people, having a declining stock market, and dealing with 9/11? Really?
That really hits the issue on the head. I hear all these people complaining about Bush's incompetence, but if they were president, the country would have bigger problems than Iraq.

I still like to call him stupid though :haha: . I wish he could take some etiquite lessons.
Managing a country with 350,000,000 people, having a declining stock market, and dealing with 9/11? Really?
Well since you brought it up. Firstly 9/11 was an inside job. This is no longer a conspiracy theory its a FACT. Those who are in denial of this should do there own research and come to this conclusion. 9/11 and 7/7 as well as the bombings in Madrid were done by the governments. THIS IS A FACT NOW. Check out the facts.
Check THIS (http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=7866929448192753501&q=loose+change) and THIS (http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=786048453686176230&q=terrorstorm) video out. But do your own research too.
As for the declining stock market, thats managed too. The dollar is going to plummet further. The federal reserve is a scam. Buy gold and ammunition I say.
God help us.
raybay 01-08-2007, 02:41 AM Because Saddam was responsible for the deaths of over 1 million people during his reign. If you had been in Halabji with our health care investigative team, to see the results of a city of 30,000 people gassed, you might have wanted to watch to be sure he was dead. 7000 to 8000 people died. When we arrived, one third were young children and babies, with vomit coming out their noses and blood coming out their ears. Another third were old men and women. Most of the middle third were women.
He was one of the nastiest killers of his own people, often using gas or fire.
SNGX1275 01-08-2007, 10:15 AM That Loose Change vid is a crock, its been debunked many times. Here's a start. (http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=debunk+loose+change&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8)
Now to add fuel to a thread rapidly heading for closing, I present to you a little jpg I made:
http://gammaxi1275.googlepages.com/SaddamGallowz.jpg
Let everyone watch Loose Change (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7866929448192753501&q=loose+change) and Terrorstorm (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=786048453686176230&q=terrorstorm), do their own research and come to their own conclusions. Thats what I say.
This conflict has to be looked at from all angles. Here (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3519855663545752103) is a documentary on the Iraq war.
The best thing to do is go and do your own research for example on Halabja and see how Western governments played their part. Look at what servicemen themselves have to say about killing innocent people. Watch that HERE. (http://www.willthomas.net/Video-Store/index.htm)

Just ask Kevin Trudeau. He knows everything they don't want us to know about..... :suspiciou
PS I love all the conspiracy theorists, really. They make me think I might be normal after all.
Tmagic650 01-08-2007, 03:05 PM This World has never been safe. Look at our World History. People have been preaching impending doom since time began  Now if the Israeli's are really going to nuke Iran...

Umm. Read the forum, Its called the meeting spot. This is general discussioin about everything, not just tech stuff.
Here is a solution to your PC issues. Stop touching the keyboard
zephead 01-08-2007, 09:05 PM That really hits the issue on the head. I hear all these people complaining about Bush's incompetence, but if they were president, the country would have bigger problems than Iraq.most of the problems we are struggling with today were created by george bush and his circle of neo-conservative pals. considering bush's past, i believe that just about any competent and educated man his age would be able to do better. bush took over his daddy's oil company once, and ran it into the ground. did anyone expect him to do any better managing a country?

The one thing that I think Bush did well was unite the country under 9/11. That is something that I have to credit him with.
Tmagic650 01-08-2007, 10:33 PM It's just a shame that we need a crisis to get along with each other. But this is the nature of man... Damn ragheads!
zephead 01-09-2007, 11:38 AM The one thing that I think Bush did well was unite the country under 9/11. That is something that I have to credit him with.united? if anything, we became more divisive under his leadership. the 2004 presidential election was a classic example of this. even if he did play some part in the apparent uniting of the US after the attacks, he ended up using those feelings to rally support for invading iraq, and look at how that turned out (then again i never expected it to work in the first place). i credit the bout of patriotism that followed 9/11 not to bush, but to the american people who felt so hurt by the attacks. this effect has occurred before, namely after pearl harbor was attacked and john f kennedy was killed.Damn ragheads!it's inflammatory racial comments like that which make conflicts worse.
