tomrca 03-27-2007, 03:21 AM is it possible to pin a shortcut for firefox bookmarks to the start menu Nodsu 03-27-2007, 03:34 AM What do you mean by "firefox bookmarks"? You mean running firefox so that the bookmarks sidebar is open? Ad 03-27-2007, 03:34 AM tomrca 03-27-2007, 03:56 AM No. as windows has favourites, and favourites can be pinned to the start menu, can this be done with firefox bookmarks? or does firefox explorer need to be running first? hope thats clearer Nodsu 03-27-2007, 07:07 AM No, there is no Firefox "favourites" "folder". This only works with IE, since IE is integrated to the Windows OS. At best, you can create a shortcut to the bookmarks.htm file that Firefox uses to keep its bookmarks. tomrca 03-27-2007, 07:54 AM sort of knew that it was a silly question. i tried all ways to see if it could. best to ask before giving up though? cheers:grinthumb mhmdkhamis 03-27-2007, 09:16 AM yes i do it on my computer SNGX1275 03-27-2007, 10:08 AM Thats wonderfully helpful mhmdkhamis  What you can do is export your FF bookmarks, then import them in IE. Then tack those to your start menu. When you click one it will open it in your default browser. tomrca 03-27-2007, 02:00 PM done it. only problem i get this splash. |
