Taking laptop apart

Problem is the is a flat cable that attaches the screen to the video port and the MOBO how do these seperate to take unit fully a part. Pics or illustrations would be great. Visual learner LOL thanks Bill Bill, there is a small plastic ring or retainer that needs to be carefully lifted just enough to release the flat cables. To reassemble, insert the flat cable and push down the plastic retainer |
