My comp in startup before windows loads shows:

1 week ago:
PLease wait for IDE Scan:
Device 1: Not Connected
Device 2: Not Connected
Device 3: Not Connected
Device 4: Not Connected

Now:
PLease wait for IDE Scan: (loads 4 times more slower)
Device 1: Dvd-cd UMdb2
Device 2: Dvram Umdb4
Device 3: Not Connected
Device 4: Not Connected

and it has now a strange noise (not a big noise but just a strange) one person suggested me that maybe is a graphic card defect
is this true?

Not much information provided here. Hard to imagine what your rig is all about. New installs anywhere? New O.S.? When did this start? If you have the recovery disc (original Windows installation disc) you can run that and hopefully recover some semblance of a working program.

So, is it not recognising your Hard Drive?

Not booting into Windows? Or you just mean it's slow to find Drives?
