Event 1003, category 102

About a week before xmas, my computer started to randomely crash, generally it would seem it does it when its doing something that requires more memory, and having read some posts on here im lead to believe that its something todo with RAM.

It either restarts the computer without notice, or sends me to the blue screen of death saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. and it logs it as a Event 1003, catergory 102.

Im running a 2.6ghz pent dual core, radeon x1950 series, 2gigs ram, with windows xp.

I can give some minidumps if that would help, and any other insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
