BSOD - page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

Hi all, Im a regular reader of the forums, but 1st time poster, so hope Im doing this right!

Recently upgraded my PC with a new mobo, an extra 1gb stick of ram & a new gfx card (See below for details). Upon buying the new bits of kit I reinstalled XP. Intermittently I'm getting a BSOD after logging into windows...this generally occurs before everything has finished starting up (possibly indicating a problem with my AVG AV loading??). This has happened up to 6 times continuously BSODing reboot after reboot. At other times though I can go days without it happening. Other than the BSOD errors my event logs are relatively clean.

New Mobo - ASRock S478 P4VM900-SATA2
New Gfx Card - Asus NVidia 256mb 8600GT PCI-E
New RAM - Kingston 1GB

Running Win XP Home SP2 (Build 2600) up to date with MS updates.
Most recent graphics drivers from the Asus website.
Most recent mobo drivers from the ASRock website.
I have a 450W PSU which should be more than enough to cope with the rest of my machine (altogether a P4 3 Ghz, 2x1GB RAM, 2xHDD 250gb & 300GB, 1xDVDRW and the 8600GT).

I would have attached the latest 5 dump files (but can't until my post count reaches 3, so if the mods dont have an issue I may post 2 replies to this immediately so I can add the files?) & below is the system error that is displayed once the machine does boot up fine:

Obviously let me know if I've missed anything, or more info is required!

Thanks for looking

Sorry, forgot to mention that once the machine does boot up sucessfully it runs fine. It has never blue screened once it's finished booting up.

Your problem is with the ASUS Smartdoctor program. I've seen this solved by updating to the latest version.

BugCheck 10000050, {a84cd037, 0, 804da08a, 0}
Probably caused by : EIO.sys ( EIO+1b6e ) <-- ASUS Smartdoctor.

You could even try disabling the Smartdoctor service from starting with Windows -

Start/Run/type/paste :msconfig /Ok/Services tab/ Hide all Microsoft services

then uncheck anything that looks useless.

Thanks for the updates people.

Im sure I already have the latest Asus drivers, to be honest I don't use the SmartDoctor so may just disable it if that's the cause.
