jtickner1 02-09-2008, 08:32 PM For me it would have to be the Pagani Zonda C12 F around Nürburgring in Germany. This car is my dream car, it is a very good car and to have the oppurtunity to drive one around The Nürburgring would be truly epic. I would love to own one but it's way out of my price range. i'll just have to settle for good ol' Subaru WRX Sti... If i can ever afford one of them :(

SNGX1275 02-14-2008, 02:21 PM Its a 12 Cylinder engine with the angle between cylinders being 60 degrees.
jtickner1 02-14-2008, 11:58 PM Well i did copy that straight from the Pagani site so... what SNGX said
Ididmyc600 02-24-2008, 01:19 PM Not a real petrol head as such
But
I would love to drive the Bugatti Veyron, any long straight road would do, just as long as I could get the bu&&er up to its top speed,,,,

Elvrage, I'll bet you don't know what most of the stuff you just typed meant........
(in advance, yes, I know him in real life, so don't criticize me!)
Elvrage 06-13-2008, 10:46 PM What do you mean not know what it means?
Of course I know what it means...
YoYo888 06-24-2008, 01:13 PM The Bugatti Veyron is a car built around an engine. Essentially, Bugatti made the decision to blow the doors off the supercar world by creating a 1,000-horsepower engine. Everything else follows from that resolution.
How would you define the most amazing production car in the world? Would it be:
The car with the most horsepower?
The car with the fastest top speed and acceleration?
The most expensive car?
At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:
A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
A top speed of 250+ mph (400+ kph)
A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
A price tag somewhere in the $1.2 million range.
THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT

I think. (my daddy claimed anyway) that the Allison engines in the WW2 P51 Mustang were based in Cadillac V-12 and V-16 designs of the 1930s. (This needs more research than I'm willing to commit at the moment. However, those motors did make more than 1000 HP. (In Aircraft form). Anyway, the V-12s and V-16s were built for smoothness. not altogether for high horsepower. Review, 4 stroke engine theory, a 12 cylinder 4 cycle will generate a power stroke every 60 degrees of crankshaft rotation, as opposed to a 4 cylinder's every 180.
A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
Honda's "V65 Magna"(motorcycle), had an advertised 0 to 60 time of 2.3 seconds the year it was released, 1983. (Bikes are a b***** in the 1/8 mile drag.
I probably would have to agree with you that the Veyron would be the ultimate "kick the tires and go' kind of driving rush. A little bit easier than lighting up a bike though, at least you couldn't wind up with it laying on your chest from an unannounced wheel stand.
mopar man 07-17-2008, 07:44 PM (Bikes are a b***** in the 1/8 mile drag.
Tell me about it. Sadly, around here, they all run 7's.
