Hi,
I just recently downloaded Rivatuner to overclock my GPU.
XFX GTS 8800GTS 640 MB

Core Clock from 580Mhz ---> 630Mhz
Memory Buys form 900Mhz ---> 930Mhz

I wanted to know if the overclocking I did is stable. Is there any programs or any way to know what I did is stable?

Thanks.

You can try PassMark (http://www.passmark.com/products/bit.htm)...

You'll just have to try it and see what it does by a benchmark test or simply playing a game that puts stress on the gpu.

the rule of thumb for any overclocking is....(drum roll) moderation. Dont simply turn up the juice too high as it will cause funky things like artifacts. you might also overheat the video card and cause damage however usually youll just have a reset happen. I almost did it to my old ATI 9800.

so start out increasing your memory and core speeds in small increments and test them to see if its stable enough

Ati Tool

Run the check for artifacts scanner for as long as you feel the need. This is how I do it:
