The open-source Web server continued its rise last year, powering 67 percent of all Web sites, while rivals remained flat

Apache is a wonderful web server.
The Apache ToolBox is a great tool for compiling custom Apache configurations under UNIX and its available here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=28862 That should take the headache out of all that hacking you have to do with the ./configure script in apache, msql, php, etc and just have the whole thing bolt itself together automatically. |
