Hello,
hope i will find help... looking for some solution for my problem of new PC. I build it myself, athlon64. Board is Asus crosshair, Grafic from xpertvision (8800GTS) I got a BSOD but it change in all direction, mean in time (2 one day, after then one week nothing) and in kind of (PAge_fault, IRQL_not_less_or_equal, win32k.sys-failure) The last i get i try to analyse with windbg, so configure windows to create a memorydump. 0x8E errors are almost always caused by hardware issues. Read the following by Julio and follow the stteps/adive contained therein: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic51365.html
If you find yourself still having issues let us know. Also, as Julio advises, one of the steps is running MemTest for a minimum of 7 passes. Let us know if you get any errors. By the way, ASUS makes great boards but they can be picky about RAM. See if your RAM is recommended for your board. |
