Video card leading to freezes?

When I run World of Warcraft my video card will last about 30-40 seconds, then my computer just locks up, and I'm forced to manually restart my computer.

Blizzard recommended I change it to openGL mode, and I did, this fixed the problem for a week or two. However, now It is freezing again. I am led to believe that it is bad drivers and/or a faulty video card.

It probably isnt the driver since I downloaded the newest/recommended drivers by nVidia.

any help would be appreciated.

1. Motherboard - EVGA NF-CK804
2. Graphic interface - PCI-E
3. Memory - 1024mb DDR2
4. CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3500+
5. CPU Speed - 2210.3 Mhz

6. Power Supply Make/Model - NZXT PF400
7. Watt output/Amperage

(one more thing, I also used to get artifacts in-game but I solved that with new fans, but the freezing doesnt seem to be an overheat problem)

Read WoW's forums or search around, I believe it's a common issue with WoW's latest patch.

Does it happen with other games?
