Ubuntu new guy + XMMS = confused
Hi folks,
So I'm an Ubuntu novice. Here's what I want to do: - Install XMMS using synaptic - get a graphical frontend for XMMS (any recommendations?) - get an equalizer for XMMS - make XMMS work with MP3 & WMA files. no clue where to start... thanks, -'Mage |

Just open Synaptic and search for xmms, install the program itself and then look for a front end and any other add ons.

I really liked xmms however I now use "Audacious". I believe it is a replacement for xmms and is actively being maintained. It even comes with an xmms shell.
