No wireless networks were found in range, Virus Related
Hi, I have a Satellite that will cannot find any wireless networks, and I think it's virus related.
Opening Internet Explorer gives me a pop-up that reads: Quote:
Then someone told me to get the Ultimate Boot CD, but that has so many options, I'm scared I'll break the PC! Any ideas? Thanks!
|

a. either already connected or b. has connected in the past. Since you are able to post, why not use the machine you are posting from to download HijackThis, AVG, Adaware and Spybot. Then burn a CD with the files on it. ALSO, check and make sure the wireless lan switch on the Satellite, either on the front, or the side is turned ON. The default is for them to be OFF. Larry |
