Hi Gurus,

This is the first time i am posting my problem here with great expectations. I am not a technical person and just encounterted this problem on my laptop.

I tried to install Norton antivirus and when it was done, immeditely after it i started getting blue screen with the following erroe msg. my windows Xp reboot again and again and shows me the same msg.

check to be sure you have adequate disk space.

check with the hardware vendr for any BIOS update. disable BIOS memory options such as catching or
shadowing

0x8E errors are nearly always hardware compatibility issue, but sometimes they can be caused by a faulty driver.

Do you have another antivirus on your laptop as well?
