Ntvdm CPU illegal instruction

Please help!

Attached HJT file, tried Xoftspy and AVG, no luck.

Not able to launch task manager or regedit.

Will auto pop up lots of MS-Dos windows: subject line C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe.

Since there are toooo many steps, I decided to re-install my windows XP instead.

Are there anything I need to do to prevent computer being infected again? I mean from my old infected files.

You should be fine if you install Antivirus, firewall and spyware protection.
