ATI Mobility Radeon Graphics controller, 4X AGP, 8MB of DDR SDRAM
Hi all!
I'm having problem with my display driver after replacing my OS from Win98se to Win XP. The display driver was working well before installing Win XP. After a few attempt of reinstalling drivers downloaded from HP/Compaq support website (For both Win98se and Win XP ATI drivers), it does not solve my problem. Even wrote to HP but the solution gave was very generic and personally i do not think they know what they are talking about it. Very disappointed with their service. Could someone pls. help? My system are as follow: 1. Compaq EVO N160 Notebook with Pentium 3, 1 GHz CPU speed. 2. Graphic card: ATI Mobility Radeon Graphics controller, 4X AGP, 8MB of DDR SDRAM. 3. Originally come with Win 98se but I've reinstalled to Win XP SP1. Many thanks! |

Did you check XP compatibility before the upgrade? if O.K. try uninstalling the ATI drivers and switch to standard VGA drivers after reboot the try driver update and use the driver from Compaq
as they are often proprietary. |
