LOL. Lots of good/fun responses while remaining on topic...

Mine uses the old TechSpot logo letters on a 'superman' alike theme. I will have to come up with something else to match the new design but I think for now I'm better off finishing other pending stuff than my own avatar

My avatar is kind of my logo I suppose that goes along with my 'online alias' of Skitzo_Zac. It contains the letters that make up 'Skitzo_Zac', its kind of hard to explain where the letters are. But if you really want to know, I made an animation last year in 3DS Max that shows where the letters are.

Well, since my nick is bobcat - see other thread - it makes sense that my av is also a bobcat.

This way I don't get confused as to who is who.

Mine was out of stock.......

I've searched high and low for an icon of a disheveled old curmudgeon in a wrinkled, filthy trenchcoat trying to bang his four legged walking cane up somebody's behind with the aid of a brick. Can someone help me? Is this the right thread? Is today Tuesday? I get so confused.

Perhaps I should send my photograph, Cap.

My avatar is a backdrop of my school.

We have two cats, Boris and Bailey. The avatar pictured here is of Bailey, our female calico (okay, all calicos are female). Boris is a male black cat. Bailey is kind of techy...she can put icons on my desktop with a deft press of the paw.

Bingo........!

I would like to thank Boris and Bailey (3) extensively for taking the time and effort to sketch and upload my new avatar. It actually brought a tear to my beady little muck encrusted eye. I hate to nitpick, but you missed the cape and tights. (1)

I have two cats as well, Bangor, a Maine Coon male with a severe food addiction, (22 pounds), and Matti, a ragdoll male, (2), who wasn't named by me. I probably would have looked up a name of a Burmese king or such, not that I think I could pronounce it.

I'm excited about my new avatar, since it gives those who so choose, something visual to fixate their animosity upon, in addition to my somewhat controversial prosaic abuse.

Footnote; (1) We're so just joking about the cape and tights!
(2) Ragdolls are in large part bred from a "Birman", a long haired asian breed with point markings, such as a Siamese has. Hence the Burmese king reference. Everyone thinks that "Matti" is a female, he's just so damned pretty. I hope this doesn't give him a gender identity crisis, or make him cranky.
(3) Are all Calicos female? Ya got me on that one.

It's true...(almost) all calicos are female

Except for the very rare calico male (I forget why that is so), calicos are female. Also, most orange tabbies are male...and cranky. Garfield is an accurate depiction, so is Morris from decades ago in the Friskies commercials. "Ohh, Morris, time for din-din!" Morris: "Ohhh, thrillsville."

Our downstairs neighbor has a hefty Maine coon with a penchant for abundant food. Since we live in Phoenix, he has to go to the vet to give his kitty a full body haircut so he isn't sweltering so much.
