BSOD Recurring Theme

Hi there,

Firstly i'm newly registered so please forgive me as; i see there are many BSOD threads and you must be bored to death by it.

Could anyone help me with this:

I seem to get the BSOD whilst doing the following:
i'm playing music through Windows Media Player and i click 'back' on my music folder (Not in WMP but in windows) to pick another song then it freezes up and BSOD. It's happened 3 times - Twice last week and just now.

I thought i fixed this problem when i disabled the HD Audio onboard (i have an Asus soundcard and thought this could be conflicting) and everything seemed alright - until now lol.

Important stuff

First BSOD Reported the following:

BAD_POOL_CALLER

***Stop: 0x000000C2 (0x00000007, 0x00000cd4, 0x02350002, 0x88686230)

Minidump Link: http://www.2shared.com/file/3758915/...080608-02.html

Third (Latest):

BAD_POOL_CALLER

***Stop: 0x000000C2 (0x00000007, 0x00000cd4, 0x02460000, 0x888CA008)

Minidump Link: http://www.2shared.com/file/3758916/...081308-01.html

Please, please, please can someone check the minidump as i have no clue how to read them to find the problem.

I will be greatful if anyone can help. - Idx

0xC2 errors are caused by Faulty Device Drivers or Buggy Software, The MiniDumps you posted both cite the same driver "cmudaxp.sys" which is a ASUS sound driver.

Try using Driver Clean Pro to clear the drivers out and Reinstall them fresh and also make sure they are the latest versions from the ASUS website.

Excellent!

Remove the old drivers and put in the new. No probs so far, no BSOD when i play music files and press 'back' lol. Seems to have done it.
