Hi,
I have a Cable/DSL connection with a router. I have resisted the temptation to make it a wi-fi connection just to preserve the quality of the connection.
Now, this is a peculiar problem I am facing.. Looks like it is a DNS issue.
My connection is ok - it connects on start-up, the router shows all the necessary lights including the ADSL one.
But the webpages do not open. Has my network adapter failed? I tried ipconfig/release but it says that there is no adapter found.
Here is what the diagnostic tool tells me (i have marked in bold whatever I felt was important. also attaching minidumps
