Hi,

I have a pc and it is currently running extremely slow, i have seen in previous forums that it can be solved by posting hijack this log and those of you more "technologically gifted" can see where such problems lie and what to delete.

Your post is going to get deleted, read the instructions in the "security and the web" and repost correctly after following all the instructions.

Unfortunately, a HijackThis log alone doesn't work. Please check the cleaning instructions here:

You will note that 2 other cleaning programs, Malware bytes ans SuperAntispyware are run first and then only after they are complete is HijackThis run. Please follow that and we will assist you. You will find the current version of HijackThis noted on the site. Once you attach all three logs, w can begin.

It appears that you may have had v7 of AVG running at one time. The Services for that program are still running and need to be stopped (023) They are AVG7 Alert Manager Server and AVG7 Update Service

I did look at the log you left. There are a few process you can top from starting up that may help the speed, but we need to make sure there is no malware, or that it is removed. Sometime a slow computer is due to having too many programs starting up at boot.
