I found a Hob-Goblin
Living in my garage
He sure was ugly
And he sure was large

I offered him ice cream
From a big blue bowl
He howled and said keep it
I’m here for your soul

That made me chuckle
Snicker and then smile
I said you can’t have it
But I have a big pile

Of souls hearts and livers
Up there on the shelf
To take them you’re welcome
I don’t want them myself

He got all excited
And started to quiver
Who could have known
Hob-Goblins dig liver

He asked for a favor
If it wasn’t to much
To invite his friends over
Ghosts Ogres and such

We started to party
And made liver pâté
We had so much fun
I asked them to stay

Soon there were werewolves
Blue Demons and more
Then came the banging
On my kitchen back door

I unlocked the door
And opened it wide
There stood a policeman
And I said come inside

You got a problem
He said acting tough
The neighbors are angry
And said that’s enough

So I’m giving you a warning
Your party is done
He then tried to scare me
Put his hand on his gun

Then in walked the mummy
All wound up in cloth
He asked if I had pills
To get rid of his cough

Well the cop he went crazy
And rushed into the house
To make some arrests
My friends he did roust

Then things got real quiet
I wondered what’s up
Well that cop he got eaten
On his body they did sup

And the mummy looked good
In that uniform blue
And my friend the Hob-Goblin
Had his pistol on too

Well I knew this was bad
So I chased them away
But before they all left
I had one thing to say

You guys sure are fun
I liked this party a lot
You’re all welcome back
With your slime and your rot

Just promise me this
On cops you won’t dine
Cause I’d sure be bummed
About doing some time

And bring along some whisky
And gin and good bud
Cause I didn’t much care
For drinking that blood

Well they cleaned up the mess
From the cop that they ate
And buried his bones
By the back garden gate

But the funniest thing
That happened that day
Was those monsters in a cop car
Drunk and speeding away

Now if you come see me
Bring some liver pâté
So that you don't end up
The dinner special of the day

Cause Hob-Goblins and demons
Can sure party hard
And I’d hate for your bones
To end up in my yard

Yes I wrote it. Poetry is my other thing after computers that I like doing.

Nice poem. Its been awhile since I have seen you in these parts luvhuffer. How have you been my man.

I enjoy the occassional poetry too. But I must admit my poems can't compare to yours =)
Mine tend to either be darker or go all 'emo' lol.

I've been good AtK. I've been having problems the last couple of months. I had a hard drive go south and it took the root drive with it. So I lost my main drive and the other which was my backup. Lost a bunch of stuff cause I hadn't backed up to CD in a few months. Then my memory went bad. And the latest thing my system would freeze and run about 4 simultaneous Dr. Watson's, then shut down explorer. I finally narrowed it down to Firefox, but I'm not sure why it's doing it. I uninstalled all the add ons and plug ins to no avail and finally uninstalled it.

Momok I have a dark side too. This one was sort of kiddie style. lol
