Overclock 9600 AIW np
Hey guys,
I have a 9600 AIW non-pro. Just wanted to know if this is the same card as the 9600 AIW Pro only underclocked and missing the fan? If it is would I be safe getting a fan for it and overclocking it to pro speeds? Thanks.... BTW, this is only temporary, building complete new system soon |

It is most likely the same card but equiped with the chips that did not run reliably at 9600 Pro speeds. The Ram on it might be slower modules too.
I would not advise you to overclock something that you will need for work. In your previous thread, you said it was a card the school gave to you in order to record basketball games, so I wouldn't run the risk of damaging it. Does it not run fast enough at stock speed ? |
